Privacy policy

This policy explains what data we collect at https://www.kian.com.ua, why, and who we share it with. The controller of the personal data is the individual entrepreneur (ФОП) acting on the basis of an extract from the Unified State Register — the same Seller named in the Public offer.

What we collect

When you place an order

  • first name and surname;
  • telephone number;
  • email address;
  • city, branch or delivery address;
  • an order comment, if you leave one;
  • the contents and total of the order, the payment method and its status.

We do not collect card details. They are entered on the payment service's side, and only the result of the transaction comes back to us.

When you create an account

Email and password (as a cryptographic hash — we never see your password), name, telephone, saved delivery addresses, saved products and order history.

When you subscribe to the newsletter

Your email address, and nothing else.

When you ask to be told about availability

Your email address and the specific product variant you are waiting for.

Automatically

Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you opened. This is used for security — limiting sign-in attempts — and, with your consent, for analytics.

Why

  • To fulfil your order — pack it, ship it, tell you its status, handle a return. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • To meet legal requirements — keeping transaction records for the periods the law sets.
  • Security — protection against automated attacks and abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
  • Newsletter — only if you subscribed. Every email carries an unsubscribe.
  • Analytics and advertising — only after you agree in the cookie banner.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it to anyone for advertising. It reaches only the services the shop cannot run without: the carrier, to deliver the parcel; the payment service, to take the payment; the email service, to send your order confirmation; and the hosting, to serve the site. Each receives only what its part of the job requires.

Analytics and advertising services (Google Analytics, Meta, TikTok) load only after you consent in the cookie banner, and do not load at all if you decline.

Cookies

The site sets these cookies of its own:

  • kian_cart — ties the basket to your browser. There is no basket without it;
  • kian_consent — remembers your answer in the cookie banner;
  • kian_newsletter_dismissed and kian_strip_dismissed — so a window you closed stays closed;
  • an authentication session cookie — only if you are signed in.

Cookies belonging to analytics and advertising services are set only after consent. You can change your mind by clearing the site's cookies in your browser settings — the banner will come back.

How long we keep it

Order data is kept for as long as performance of the contract and accounting law require. Account data is kept until you delete the account. A newsletter address is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under Ukraine's Personal Data Protection Act you have the right to:

  • know what data of yours we process, and receive a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have data deleted where there is no legal basis to keep it;
  • withdraw consent to analytics and to the newsletter at any time;
  • complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
